Yeast In Lungs Has Anyone Ever Lost Part Of Or An Entire Lung Due To A Rare Fungal Yeast Infection?

Has anyone ever lost part of or an entire lung due to a rare fungal yeast infection? - yeast in lungs

I'm curious to know if someone has recovered from this type of infection without surgery.

The three most common pulmonary fungal infections are Histoplasmosis, coccidioidomycosis and blastomycosis. Most infected people have mild symptoms and are unaware they are infected. Some people are seriously ill. Other fungal infections usually occur in people whose immune system is weakened) (eg AIDS.
Most of the time, at the time of diagnosis, treatment with anti-fungal power - or an anti-fungal azoles or amphotericin B - is all that is necessary.
Before our fight against antifungal agents available, the operation was much more common, now very rare.
