How can I get my Canon PowerShot to recognize rechargeable batteries? - canon powershot s

I have wonderful a digital camera, a Canon PowerShot s5is. I bought it also because you could use rechargeable batteries. I bought the Energizer very well for this purpose. But I used batteries for free (free) first, and now I can not recognize recharacable batteries to be successful. I know it works because I tested it on other devices? Any help? I can not afford more batteries and died less than an hour at the opening. Very frustrating.

1) when the outside temperatures are low sap his power. If they are warm, and again their power (cold weather can be the chemical reactions that generate reducing power).

2) If you still have problems, when cells need to be heated, may be the problem, the charger, the high internal resistance in batteries, or both.

3) AA rechargeable batteries are best Sanyo Eneloop or other pre-charged "batteries. They have a lower internal resistance and lasts much longer in high drain devices much NiMH normal.

From your description, I bet it was cold, with much use of liquid crystal displays, which killed their batteries in an hour.
